Employment Evaluations

Often called a pre-employment test, an employment evaluation is a type of psychological assessment designed to gauge a potential employee’s appropriateness or fit for a position based upon their mental abilities, psychological traits, and personality. Pre-employment tests are designed to gather information about a person’s motivators, communication style, preferences, and emotional qualities. Testing consists of a semi-structured interview, review of any relevant collateral sources, and a specifically tailored battery of empirically developed tests of intellectual ability, reading comprehension, personality, psychopathology, and job preparedness.
