Civil Forensic Evaluations
In civil forensic evaluations, we are frequently asked to provide observations or opinions regarding the emotional, behavioral, and/or cognitive functioning of an individual involved in the legal system whose mental state is at issue. Civil forensic assessments can address a broad range of issues related to, for example, damages within the context of emotional injury, psychological injury cases, guardianship, fitness for duty, disability, malpractice, testamentary capacity, and civil commitment. We conduct civil forensic assessments as described below when requested by counsel or ordered by the Court.
